Volleyball Senior Night 2020

Academy of Our Lady’s volleyball team celebrated six senior team members with Senior Night on Tuesday, October 20. During the pregame ceremony seniors Kacey Lyon, Madelyn Whitefield, Madison Romano, Abigail Melling, Lacey Johnson and Dylan Ferguson were honored by the athletic department and the Academy of Our Lady Penguin Cheer Squad for their dedication to the athletic program for the past 5 years. In addition, the athletic department also honored the seniors from the opposing team, Helen Cox.

Following the ceremony, the Penguins defeated Helen Cox in three sets 25-20, 25-16 and 25-19. Senior Kacey Lyon had 15 kills, junior Essence Wren had 15 assists and junior Emily Eschette had eight digs. The team currently holds a 22-0 record.

The next game is away against Landry Walker on October 29 at 4:30 pm. Followed by a game against Ursuline on October 30 at 5:00 pm at home.
