Law Intern Field Trip March 2021

The Law Intern class ventured off campus to visit the Jefferson Parish 24th Judicial District Court. Students observed a motion and saw first-hand what takes place when someone takes a plea. Judge Grefer, assistant district attorneys and Chief Judicial Administrator Renee Aguilar, who is an alumna and current AOL parent, took time to visit with the students, answer questions and explain the innerworkings of the court. Law Intern is taught my Ms. Karen Matherne who has been practicing law for more than 20 years.
