Keep Louisiana Beautiful Grant Awarded to Academy of Our Lady

Academy of Our Lady has been honored to receive a $2500 grant from Keep Louisiana Beautiful (KLB) to divert our food waste from the landfill and restore it back to the soil through a composting program. Composting has been an instant success as students learn what can be composted and what cannot. We are happy to be a vibrant community that promotes the goals of Keep Louisiana Beautiful, which are to, “prevent litter, reduce waste, increase recycling, and protect the natural resources of our communities.”
