The class of 2021 was celebrated May 11 with Baccalaureate Mass. Valedictorian Olivia Marque and Salutatorian Farrah Labadie addressed their classmates. A ceremony was held following Mass announcing the honor graduates as well as the recipients of the Golden Scepter Award and Fiat Voluntas Tua Principal’s Award. Alumnae of Archbishop Blenk High School and Immaculata High School with daughters graduating were also honored.
Congratulations to all the graduates! Individual ceremonies will be held next week for each graduate and her family.

The Golden Scepter Award reflects the image of Mary under the title of “Help of Christians.” Although each graduate is required to fulfill 75 hours of service, the recipient of the Golden Scepter Award has gone over and above these required hours by earing 906 hours in a variety of different service projects. The Fiat Voluntas Tua Award, Latin for “Your will be done,” echoes the word of Mary at the Annunciation. At Academy of Our Lady, this award is presented to a graduate whose life of character, service, leadership and school spirit reflect openness to God’s plan for them and for all those they encounter. This most prestigious award is the highest award presented at Academy of Our Lady. The 2021 recipient of The Fiat Voluntas Tua Principal’s Award is Lacey Johnson.
