The Back to School assembly was held August 23. New members of the Academy of Our Lady family received pins from their senior big sisters. Student representatives from each grade level competed in activities for the most spirit points. The seniors reigned victorious receiving the megaphone for the first assembly of the year. With more than 25 clubs there is something for everyone at Academy of Our Lady. Students pursued the club offerings during the annual Club Fair on August 22. Parents and guardians were invited to Parent Back to School Night on August 20. Attendees began with a presentation featuring members of the administration, Parent Club and Papa Penguins. Following the presentation portion of the evening parents walked through their daughter's academic schedule which allow them to meet teachers and staff. Orientation was held for pre-freshmen on August 8 while freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors attended orientation on August 9. Students heard from administration and had the opportunity to meet their teachers who reviewed course syllabi and outlined expectations for the school year. The 2019-2020 school year is off to a great start! Campus was filled with students and their parents for Book Day on August 7 which marked the official start of the school year.
