Underclassmen Awards 2019

The Underclassmen Awards Ceremony was held on May 20. Students were honored for their academic achievements including highest average for each course and honor society participation. Recognition was also awarded to students for involvement in Student Council, Confirmation, maintenance of a good conduct record and an attendance record as well as service. Also, faculty members were honored for their dedication to Catholic education for more than 20 years.

    The University of Rochester in Rochester, NY presents an award to a student for outstanding achievement in the humanities and/or social sciences. This award was presented to junior Rachelle Sancho.
  Awards are presented for outstanding academic achievement and community service from Tulane University Undergraduate Admissions Department. These Tulane Book Awards were presented to junior Mallory Hines.
  The Bausch & Lomb Science Award is presented to an outstanding junior science student. This honor qualifies her to enter a National Scholarship Competition sponsored by the University of Rochester. This award was presented to junior Gillian Decossas.
  An award is presented to an outstanding junior for academic achievement and leadership skills. The George Eastman Young Leaders Award was presented to junior Ariana Nguyen. This award is presented to a junior what has a strong interest in innovation and/or information technology and a high level of achievement in this area in coursework and outside of school. This junior leads other students to new approaches in solving old problems and is involved in innovation community service. The Xerox Award was presented to junior Melanie Ros.

  Senior Katelyn Luebbert was named Outstanding Female Athlete of the Year by the Westbank Quarterback Club.Luebbert has earned a 4.07 GPA and a 30 composite on the ACT. She is a four-year starter and senior caption of the softball team. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Health Care Club, Student Union Diversity in Action, Mu Alpha Theta, National English Honor Society. Luebbert plans to attend New York University where she will study Sports Management.
