During the week of September 21- 25, Ms. Karen Matherne’s Psychology classes put their creative skills to work and created “brain hats.” After completing a unit on the brain, students fashioned colorful paper brains that detailed the many parts of this complex part of the body such as the frontal cortex and the occipital lobes. Afterwards, students were allowed to show their handiwork as they walked around campus with their hats. To view photos click on the title of this post.
Senior Jenna Hymel began creating her brain hat by identifying and color coding different areas of the brain.
