Golden Torch Society

Academy of Our Lady’s Guidance Department created the Golden Torch Society to honor and celebrate academic achievement on the ACT by juniors or seniors. Within the Golden Torch Society there are two tiered categories which include The Core of Excellence and The Inner Circle. To be a member of The Core of Excellence students must score a composite of 30 or above on the ACT and to be a member of The Inner Circle students must score a composite of 25 or above on the ACT.  The Golden Torch Society was created to encourage, promote and celebrate academic excellence throughout school.  Members will be continually added throughout the school year as students meet the ACT requirement.
