All-District Volleyball Awards

Five members of the 2019 Academy of Our Lady volleyball team, including senior Re’vin Cobb, senior Kennidee Bailey, senior Leigha Cox, sophomore Emily Eschete and junior Kacey Lyon, were named to the All-District Team for Division II District 8.

Sophomore Emily Eschette was also named the Most Valuable Defensive Player while Head Coach Don Landry was named Coach of the Year.

The volleyball team are undefeated Division II District 8 champions and completed their season in the LHSAA State Tournament in the quarterfinals with an overall record of 27 wins and 6 losses.
