Eight students enrolled in Essential of Nursing Assisting Internship II successfully completed the semester course and the state requirements to earn the certification to be a nurse aide/Certified Nursing Assistant.
Academy of Our Lady offers more than 70 electives and a unique program called the Program of Academic Majors. The four academic majors include Health Science, Law & Civil Leadership, Culinary Arts and STEM.
The Program of Academic Majors are offered in the conjunction with the required college preparatory curriculum at Academy of Our Lady and gives students real world experience prior to stepping foot on a university campus. These students will have the opportunity to work in the medical field as they continue to pursue a career in medicine on the collegiate level.
