English Dual Enrollment

Students in Mr. Bordlee’s English 102 Dual Enrollment class read the classic Holocaust memoir Night by Elie Wiesel as part of their literature studies. As part of the unit, students examined the background to the German government’s racist policies that led to the execution of millions of Jews by Nazis in prison camps around Europe during World War II.
 
English 102 students were then assigned to create a symbol that captured Night’s theme, and the students then rendered the symbol with a written explanation for display in the classroom.
