Renaissance

Renaissance is not a program. It's a process that encourages academic excellence, improvement, and citizenship. Its primary goals are to increase student performance and teacher enthusiasm, and raise the level of community participation in schools.

The name "Renaissance" was chosen simply because of its definition "rebirth, renovation, refurbishment, and renewal."  Founded by educators in 1988, Jostens Renaissance is the first and only national education-focused program created to recognize and reward the academic achievements of students from elementary school through college.

Students will have the opportunity to earn a card each semester and the privileges of membership. Three levels of cards will be given based on academics, attendance, and attitude.  Students may also qualify for special recognition awards and incentives.
