One of the amenities the new campus has to offer students of Academy of Our Lady is a television production facility. Building on our strong visual arts program, the FIAT 4 morning news is produced in a multi-camera studio setup equipped with a green screen, anchor desk and switcher. The morning news is on our own cable network and sent to each classroom where it is viewed on 70” plasma apple TV’s. The productions are completely student created and include the principal’s “Good Morning” message and various announcements. Student video presentations, filmed during Mass Media classes, are also a part of programming. Next year the class will be offered as a duel enrollment course, earning college credit.
“The television production facility is another think that makes Academy of Our Lady innovative. This allows our students to get first hand experience in the field of Mass Communications.” – Alexandra Stoufflet, Faculty
