Academy Students Build Electric Houses
Honor physics students at Academy of Our Lady demonstrate the use of electricity in houses that they built. Each house had to have two stories with three circuits: a series, a parallel, and a combination circuit. A doorbell that could work independently of the lights had to be in the circuitry, even though it was a part of a circuit with lights.
Seniors Amber Bankston of Belle Chasse and Danielle Bourg of Marrero
demonstrate electric lights and doorbell in their joint project.
