Academy Supports Jeans for Teens

Donations of worn, unused, or out of style jeans were made to homeless teens.  This initiative is a response to the problem of teen homelessness. Approximately 1 in 3 people experiencing homelessness is under the age of eighteen.  One of the items homeless youth request most is a pair of jeans.

Academy of Our Lady juniors Allison Barrios of Marrero and Taylor Seals of Lafitte coordinated the Teens for Jeans drive at Academy of Our Lady.
