AOL Honor Graduates

 

 

 

Honor graduates of the Class of 2010, pictured above, gathered in Immaculate Conception Church with their classmates for the Baccalaureate Mass on May 18. Including the honor graduates pictured above, 146 students were awarded diplomas later that day in commencement ceremonies at the Alario Center in Westwego.
The valedictorian for the Class of 2010 was Kaitlyn M. Carriere.  Carriere is the daughter of Tammy and Norbert Carriere Jr. of Harvey.  She plans to attend the University of New Orleans and will major in pre-physical therapy.  She was awarded scholarships by the University of New Orleans and Southeastern Louisiana University.  She is also the recipient of the Academy’s Exemplary Conduct Award.
The salutatorian was Courtney L. Gauthreaux.  Gauthreaux is the daughter of Harold and Colinda Gauthreaux of Marrero.  She plans to attend Louisiana State University and will major in biological sciences.  She was awarded scholarships by Loyola University, Southeastern Louisiana University, Louisiana State University, and by the Knights of Columbus through its Catholic Youth Leadership Award
            Additional honor graduates included Abeer Al-Hatel, Amanda L. Bourg, Lezli M. Breaux, Jamie M. Chauvin,  Hillary M. Chollete, Alexandria C. Garrett, Sabrina R. Hawkins, Kayln M. Hepting, Krystal N. Knecht, Bailey A. Landry, Rachel R. Lessig, Elizabeth F. Macke, Blair P. Minnard, Hannadi  Mirfiq, Diana N. Mirfiq, Melissa A. Mueller, Nicole M. Navarre, Tina Nguyen, Shannon M. Palermo, Lisa T. Phan, Lauren E. Roddy, Katelyn R. Rodrigue, Kayla R. Salas, Saje L. Sorina, Nina L. Vo, Jessica L. Weaver, Tiffany M. Williams.
