Student council members were honored for the Academy’s generous support of Shriners Hospital for Children, this year’s designated charity of the Louisiana Association of Student Councils (LASC).  Through its annual “Penny Wars” fund raiser, the Academy raised $2,017 for the hospital.  Shown with a plaque from LASC commending the Academy’s fund raising efforts are Sister Michelle Geiger, student council moderator; Flower Lam, a Harvey senior and student council executive board member; Alexandra Stoufflet, a Harvey senior and student council president; and Erin Collongues, a New Orleans senior and student council executive board member.
