Home Economics Students Make Blankets for Those in Need
Â

Students in Mrs. Marcia Hubbard's home economics classes used their talents to make blankets and pillows for local persons in need. A grant from the Joe and Dorothy Brown Foundation, awarded to the school earlier this year for service projects, funded the purchase of materials needed for the blankets. The blankets were distributed through the Harry Thompson Rebuild Center, which is located adjacent to St. Joseph Church on Tulane Avenue in New Orleans.
