COLLEGE BOUND

On Monday, October 26, 2011 all Academy of Our Lady juniors and seniors boarded school buses to the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans for the National Association for College Admission Counseling College Fair.  Students spent the morning visiting with representatives from colleges and universities across the United States including performing and visual arts colleges.  The field trip was organized by Meghan Dwyer, M. Ed. the junior and senior guidance counselor and college advisor.  “The college fair was really good; I was able to get information on great schools,” commented senior Maegan Pohlman.  The purpose of the trip was to get the students excited and ready about the college application process and their futures.
