Academy Senior Attend Pro-life Rally

Camp Joshua is a weekend retreat which enables high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors to become pro-life leaders in their school and community. Brooke Pizani, senior, represented the Academy at the Baton Rouge camp on April 1-3, 2011. The weekend included a variety of activities such as guest speakers, workshops, small groups, and a trip to the Governor’s Mansion. Students were taught how to effectively and properly speak against abortion to others, played a game of Jeopardy with questions related to abortion, and much more. About 100 high school students were in attendance making it the largest in its 4 years of existence.
“I learned so much at Camp Joshua. I feel like I am ready to be a leader in the pro-life movement and I already have some plans I would like to try out in college. Everyone was so nice there and we all got along instantly. I made many friends and I would definitely recommend Camp Joshua to everyone! I had fun the entire weekend and there was never a dull moment!” (Brooke Pizani)
