The Academy’s Thalian Society brings the musical “Aida” to the stage from Thursday, March 24 through Sunday, March 27.  Performances are at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday.  The show, set in ancient Egypt, is a modern adaption of the famous opera of the same name.  With contemporary music by Elton John and lyrics by Tim Rice, “Aida” promises to be a great evening of dramatic and musical entertainment.  Presold admission at the school office is $6 for students and $10 for adults.  Tickets will also be available at the door at $8 for students and $12 for adults.
