The blood drive was sponsored by the Health Care Club. Sister Susan Bagli, Health Care Club moderator, and her club members helped facilitate the flow of students throughout the day. The Blood Center van was parked outside of Notre Dame Hall from 8:30 to 3:30, and a steady stream of students and adults visited all day. Most students who showed up were accepted as donors and were able to donate a unit of blood. Everyone who donated was able to get some juice and snacks, such as cookies or trail mix, before leaving. The Health Care Club also provided bottled water to students to help keep them hydrated.
