Service Week 2011 found Academy family members working throughout the community on a variety of projects.  Students and staff members put thousands of volunteer hours into projects that included beautification of New Orleans City Park, rehabilitation of housing stock in Orleans and St. Bernard Parishes, aid to animal rescue efforts at PAWS, and brightening the spirits of residents at local nursing and assisted living facilities.  Every Academy student spent a day in the field, and many staff members joined them as our family put faith into action by lending its time and talents to a variety of worthy causes.
