From January 20-25, 2011, 11 AOL students and 2 faculty went on a pilgrimage to Washington DC for the 38th annual March for Life.  The March for Life takes place each year on the anniversary of Roe vs. Wade, the Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion in the United States.   They journeyed with the Archdiocese of New Orleans.  This trip included stops at the Smithsonian, the Capitol, the basilica, and the Holocaust museum.  The pilgrimage also included a reception with pro-life congressmen and senators and a youth rally for the march participants from Louisiana.  The trip to Washington DC culminated in the March on January 24, where more than 100,000 people from around the country gather to promote the dignity of all human life.
