Katie Neil, an Academy senior, is shown at left as she pulls away from a competitor on her way to the individual title at the West Bank Cross Country Championships on September 25 in Gretna.  Neil finished first among all competitors in the varsity division with a time of 23:00 for the three mile course.

Abby Wilson, junior, helps lead her team to the runners-up  spot behind Belle Chasse High at the West Bank Cross Country Championships on September 25.  Wilson finished third in the individual competition with a time of 23:53 for her three-mile run.

Racquel Gibson, senior, finished in 10th place overall .

Jennifer Kenyon, junior, finished in 12th place overall.   Right behind Jennifer was Jade Lee, senior, who took 13th place overall.

Sister Susan Bagli attended the cross country meet and took time to congratulate our students on their excellent effort.
