Hurricane Help
Service to our neighbors is integral to an Academy education. When hurricanes hit our neighbors in LaFitte the students and teachers, under the direction of Mrs. Favalora, Reached out to help. Collections were taken at the school Mass. Student Council spearheaded fundraising through various activities. Parents, teachers and student cooked and served food to families cleaning up. The families of LaFitte were not fogotten after the immediate crisis past. At Christmas time, the students collected food and toys for over 50 families still struggling to make ends meet.
