Mu Alpha Theta

Purpose:  Mu Alpha Theta is the National High School and Two-Year College Mathematics Honor Society. Mu Alpha Theta is dedicated to inspiring keen interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in the subject, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics in high school and two-year college students

Activities:  National Metric Week, Talk Like a Pirate Day, Pi Day, St. Jude Hospital Math-A-Thon, Tournaments, state convention, National Walk at Lunch Day

Requirements:  Be in your third high school math course or higher, have at least a B average in all math courses, and participate in at least one activity per year.
