Basketball

This season the Academy basketball team will be in the capable hands of first year coach Kevin Rodrigue and Assistant Coach Courtney Navarre. Coach Rodrique comes to the Academy from John Curtis Christian School where he was a member of the staff that won the 2011-2012 State Championship. Last season the Penguins posted a 7-13 record, missing the playoffs, but posting impressive victories over L.W. Higgins, Haynes Academy and Belle Chasse High School. The Academy of Our Lady basketball program competes in highly competitive District 9 AAAA.
