Student Life

Life at the academy is active-there's always something to do. Teachers are unusually accessible to students-there's always someone to talk to.

Clubs: With over 20 clubs focusing on academics, service, and spirit, the Academy has an activity to match every girl's interest.

Inauguration Songs: Cantate and Bel Canto choral groups perform nationally and internationally including the Presidential Inauguration in Washington, D.C.

Dramatis Personae: Highlights of Thalian Society productions include Annie and Leader of the Pack. The group also did a special play for the centennial celebration of the founding of the Salesian Sisters in 2008, and they performed a drama about a group of women interned in a Japanese prisoner of war camp in the former Dutch East Indies during World War II.

Dancing up a Storm: The Academy of Our Lady dance team, the Crystalettes, won seven trophies in the 2008 Champion Dance Nationals, held in New York City. Read more.
